Welcome to Troop 282! Troop 282 is the most active Scout Troop in the Carbon County area. We have been around since 1942 and if you’re counting that is over 76 years! Our program is designed to keep any Scout busy learning and having fun!
Our scout troop runs a traditional Boy Scout Program. Membership is open to all boys ages 11 through 18. If a boy is 10 years of age and out of the fifth grade he is qualified to join.
We are sponsored by the Community Methodist Church and by Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. However, we are a non denominational scout troop. Our members are from many faiths.
We meet on Monday nights at 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at the Community Methodist Church, 2nd East and Main Street, Price, Utah.
