Who We Are

Troop 282 is an active Scout Troop in the Carbon County area.  We have been around since 1942 and if you’re counting that is over 76 years! Our program is designed to keep any Scout busy learning and having fun!

Our scout troop runs a traditional Boy Scout Program. Membership is open to all boys ages 11 through 18. If a boy is 10 years of age and out of the fifth grade he is qualified to join.

We are sponsored by the United Methodist Church and Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. However, we are a non-denominational scout troop. Our members are from many faiths.

We meet on Monday nights from 7:00 pm- 8:30 pm at the United Methodist Church, 2nd East and Main Street, Price, Utah.
